תחילה טיול רגלי באיקיזדרה, ארוחת בוקר במלון ויצאנו לכיוון סומיילה נסיעה צפונה עד כביש החוף לאורך דרום הים השחור ופניה מערבה לכיוון טרבזון, משם פניה דרומה למנזר סומיילה המנזר נמצא במעלה צוק גבוהה ושני גישות אליו: אחת עליה מהכביש ברגל, במסלול עקלתון די תלול - ארבעה מטיילים עלו בו ונהנו מאוד - ושניה דרך גישה לרכב המגיע עד היעד בתנאי שיש מקום לחנות אחרת הולכים קצת ברגל - בעליה מתונה מידע נוסף על המנזר At first a short walk through Ikizdere, breakfast at the hotel, then into the vans for the trip to the Sumela Monastery North till we reach the coastal highway along the Balck Sea, turn west towards Trabzon, At Trabzon leave the costal road and turn south to the Sumela Monastery The monastery is way up on the side of a cliff, and two ways up; the first is a winding and steep footpath - four of us took that way up (thoroughly enjoyable) - the second is a service road all the way to the entrance, only one problem, there’s no parking lot so probably you would end up parking a short walk away from the entrance.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S%C3%BCmela_Monasteryhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S%C3%BCmela_Monasteryhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S%C3%BCmela_Monasteryshapeimage_7_link_0shapeimage_7_link_1shapeimage_7_link_2
