קצרצר בקצ’קר - היום השלישי
ארדשן עד ארטוין
Kachkar Short Trip - 3rd day
Ardeshen to Artvin

הלילה השלישי היה במלון “גרין איידר” שנמצא בארדשן על חוף הים השחור
בבוקר יצאנו לאורך החוף לכוון הופא, קצת לפני הופא נכנסנו לעמק ופנינו דרומה במעלה רכס הקצ’קר לכוון בורצ’קא. בדרך לשם עצרנו באמצע העליה לתצפית על הנוף - לולא קווי החשמל הייתי מאמין שאני בהרי האלפים - הסתכלנו לכוון הים השחור מצפון, ראינו גם פריחה למרות שזה אמצע יולי. המשכנו וראינו שדות אינסופיים של תה בתוך הנוף האלפיני, ראינו אגמים של הצפות שנגרמו כתוצאה מבנית סכרים להפקת חשמל. המשכנו לבורצ’קא ומשם לאגם השחור “קאר גול” שם הפסקת קפה וטיול קצר סביב האגם שכולו יער גשם. חזרנו לבורצ’קא לארוחת צהריים במסעדה ומשם המשכנו למלון בארטוין בדרך בקורנו בעוד שכר של תחנה הידרו-חשמלית.

Third night at Ardeshen at the “Green Ayder” Hotel very close to the Black Sea:
In the morning we set out along the sea shore road towards Hopa, just before we entered Hopa we turned north at one of the valleys that head up the Kachkar ridge towards Borchka. Along the way we stopped to see the view - and if there were no electricity cables you could easily believe that you were somewhere in the Alps, maybe Chamonix - we looked north towards the Black Sea, we also saw the flowers even though it was mid July. We continued on our way and saw the endless tea plantations within the alpine scenery, we saw lakes created by flooding resulting from the flooding brought about by the construction of Hydro-electric dams. We continued to Borchka, from there to “Kar Gol” - the black lake - where we stopped for coffee and a short walk around the shores of the lake which was none other than a rain forest. We returned to Borchka for lunch at a local restaurant and from there we continued to our hotel at Artvin visiting another Hydro-electric dam on the way.
